The Science of Successful Organizational Change: How Leaders Set Strategy, Change Behavior, and Create Agile Cultures is now available from online booksellers. In bookstores from June 10th 2015.
The book proposes that leading change is too important to be left to specialists, and that we want to euthanize change management and replace it with change leadership (and change agile organizations).
To do that we need a sound, scientific understanding of people, but most of the ideas used to lead people are based on fads, pop psychology, myths, pseudoscience, or unproven management models. 21st century research provides us with some new ideas to replace the old.
