Elizabeth Franklin serves as the Executive Director of the Cancer Support Community’s Cancer Policy Institute. She was formerly Director of Policy and Engagement at the George Washington University Cancer Institute. Previously, she was Senior Director of Policy and Advocacy with the Prevent Cancer Foundation as well as Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at the headquarters of the National Association of Social Workers. Elizabeth has a Bachelors, Masters, and in a few weeks will earn a doctorate in social work and has been working in oncology social work for almost 15 years.
