Two-time Daytime Emmy nominee Eileen Davidson visits Soap Central Live to talk about all the soapy goodness in her life. The actress-turned-author recently released her third mystery novel, Diva Las Vegas (now available online and in bookstores). Plus, she'll talk about what it was like to play five different roles simultaneously on Days of our Lives, and the differences between playing one character (Ashley Abbott) on two different soaps (The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.) Soap Central Live airs every Friday at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific.

Eileen Davidson

Eileen Davidson originated the role of Jabot Cosmetics executive Ashley Abbott in 1982. Davidson was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2003. In 1998, she made daytime television history for portraying five characters at one time on Days of Our Lives, and was honored with a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performances.
