Amir Levine

Amir Levine graduated from Hadassah medical school at the Hebrew University. He completed his residency in adult psychiatry, followed by a combined clinical and research fellowship in child psychiatry at Columbia University at the NY State Psychiatric Institute. Amir is also co-author of the book Attached: The New Science of Adult Attachment and How It Can Help You Find and Keep Love. This book was inspired by clinical work done with Dr. Daniel Schachter in Amir’s child psychiatry fellowship. It has been translated into various languages. Currently at Columbia University, Amir is a Principle Investigator, together with Nobel Prize Laureate Dr. Eric Kandel and distinguished researcher Dr.
