Jim Dolan - CEO

Jim Dolan is a native Texan, growing up in a military family. He graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1976 and earned a Masters in Information Systems from Boston University in 1987. After 13 years in the Air Force, 8 years overseas, he came home to Texas. He retired in 2013 with 24 years as an American Airlines Captain. He is the initial recipient of the American Airline’s Citizen Hero Award in support of All Who Serve. And initiated in the Order of the Eagle in 2012. In 2007, Jim founded Heroes on the Water, a 501(c)3 supporting warriors who served our country. Jim and his wife, Sally, have been married 36 years, have two children, Justin and Kate, and live in Richardson, TX.

Jason Austin – National Spokesperson

Sargeant First Class (Retired) Jason Austin, born in Cambridge, New York, enlisted in the Army at the age of 17 under the delayed entry program in December of 1990. Eleven days after he graduated from Hartford Central School, Class of 1991, he left for Fort McClellan Alabama, where he completed Basic and Advanced Individual Training with Alpha Company 795th Military Police Company. SFC Austin currently spends his time working with a nonprofit organization, Heroes on the Water (HOW), where he travels the Gulf Coast and fishes kayak fishing tournaments to raise awareness for service members who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress and physical injuries sustained in combat.
