Diet is the most difficult subject to approach because of the range of choices we have as Americans concerning food. The other problem with diets is what we choose to belive about them because of what we have been told. This show will try discern the difference between fact and fiction. I want to talk about the misconceptions of what we have been led to belive about eating and attempt to address these options, I also want to talk about how age effects our diet and how that effects what we are supposed to eat and how often. Please tune in and listen because I intend to break down a lot of strongholds that rule the way and how we eat today.

We will touch on issues such as stress and how it affects your body. I will emphasize the importance of working out, and how it’s effects change as you age. We will talk about supplements, how they work and why they are so important to us today, even if we are eating right. We will also discuss the importance of minerals and why our foods today don’t have enough of them and how sustaining a good diet improves mental health and decision making.
I am Marcus Aurelius. My first introduction to body building was at the age of 17 when I was introduced to my college mentor, Rob Serenja, at Cambourne Technical College in Cornwall, England. In 1986 I immigrated to America where I was able to pursue my dreams to become a body builder like my hero, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who I had the pleasure of training with for a little time at World’s Gym but I needed a job so I could live. With his help, and influences, I was hired on to my dream job as a personal trainer at Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles, California.
Since then, I moved to Austin, Texas, where I was able to work in many gyms throughout the Austin region. My most favorite gym I worked at was the East Communities YMCA because of its Christian standards and the people there were the greatest.
In 2007 I started my own gym, and now own Elgin Fitness in Elgin, Texas, where I specialize in personal training. I have a very loyal clientele base who support me and who I am. I’m very thankful for them because they were very supportive in my starting this show. Over the years, I have trained thousands of people who still do all they can to stay in contact with me.
I have always been highly respected and liked because of the insight I have been able to share, especially when it came to weight loss and fitness. Training has always been my passion and my gift. I hope through my extensive knowledge and experience from years of training I can touch your life too.
