Episode Description

Kathryn interviews New York Times bestselling author Alejandro Junger, MD on his book “Clean Gut: The Breakthrough Plan for Eliminating the Root Cause of Disease and Revolutionizing Your Health”. We live in an age of highly advanced medicine, yet we are sick and getting sicker. In his groundbreaking new book, Dr. Junger explains how we can preemptively attack disease before it takes root in the gut, rather than waiting to treat symptoms as they arise. Kathryn also interviews integrative medicine pioneer Michael Finkelstein, MD on his book “77 Questions for Skillful Living: A New Path to Extraordinary Health”. Finkelstein goes beyond conventional medicine to examine the physical, psychological, environmental, and spiritual contributions to illness and empowers patients to take their health into their own hands. He has appeared on The Today Show, CNN, and in the NY Times.
