In this session we will explore how to harness the power of conflict in the workplace. Listeners will learn how to facilitate powerful team discussions that guide a team to the next level of performance excellence. Glenn Harris

Glenn Harris is a Certified Professional and Social-Emotional Intelligence Coach, leadership professional and contributing author to the upcoming book Roadmap to Success (with co-authors Deepak Chopra and Ken Blanchard). As Co-Founder of Pacific Executive and Education Leadership Associates Glenn works as a certified Social-Emotional Intelligence coach and trainer for all DiSC training tools and the world class Five Behaviors, team training program.

He frequently engages audiences as a leadership speaker with topics such as Trust, A Product of Authenticity, Who Do You See When You Look in the Mirror? and Adding Value To Your Relationships. His work has supported business leaders with improving their professional relationships.

Glenn has developed cohesive leadership teams within businesses and education organizations. During his 31-year leadership career he was honored as an exemplary superintendent of schools in Northern California. Dr. Laura Belsten is an internationally known speaker on the topic of Social + Emotional Intelligence, and author of the Social + Emotional Intelligence Profile®. Dr. Laura Grassman is the Superintendent of Auburn Union School District, in California. Her specialty lies within the area of Equity in Education and is a member of the Kappa Delta Pi International Honors Society in Education. Auburn Union School District is responsible for the education of approximately 2100 California students. Laura implements and monitors a budget comprised of $20 million federal, state and local funds. She is responsible for the health and welfare of approximately 210 employees. Dr. Linda Petrucelli



Dr. Linda Petrucelli is a highly respected clergy leader. She has served local churches in Illinois, Indiana, and Iowa, where she was born. For nine years, Linda worked in Taiwan as a missionary dealing with conflicts surrounding exploited fish workers in the fishing industry. Following her service in Taiwan, Linda coordinated disaster relief and development programs at denominational headquarters in New York.

In 2000, Linda moved to the Big Island to serve United Community Church in Hilo. Following the Kiholo Bay earthquake in 2006, she worked with FEMA and the American Red Cross, counseling elderly and low-income families how to repair their homes and lives. She currently serves as pastor of Hilo Coast United Church of Christ in Honomu, a growing congregation serving the Hamakua Coast.

Julie Straw has spent her thirty-five years in business helping trainers, coaches and consultants build successful businesses. For the last twenty years, she has worked with learning assessments focusing on improving workplace productivity. She was responsible for building, training and maintaining a thriving network of over 1800 Everything DiSC Authorized Partners in the United States and Canada. Her roles have ranged from product development, marketing, and sales, to her current position as key spokesperson for Everything DiSC. Julie is currently Vice President of Wiley Workplace Learning Solutions group, which specializes in publishing research-based self-assessments designed to help people improve performance, increase job satisfaction, and value differences. Prior to joining Wiley in 1993, Julie worked as a marketing manager and senior instructional designer at NCR Comten. She also spent several years developing a sales channel for a start-up computer company.
