For most men, being male is a prison for the soul. As babies, boys cry and get comforted, but at some point, crying, touching and seeking comfort is no longer allowed. The fear of looking like a girl becomes dominant. The world expects boys to transition from real humans to machines, who are no longer supposed to flinch.
