American business needs to attract and retain qualified workers, yet millions of Americans with disabilities who are qualified workers sit on the sidelines, untapped or underutilized.
Disabilities At Work Radio highlights businesses that go ‘beyond compliance’ in hiring practices or that support people with disabilities in other ways, and details the benefits companies receive. Disabilities At Work Radio features agencies that successfully prepare people with disabilities for the workforce, and workers who manage a disability and a career, and how they do it.
The show includes compelling discussions of the issues around Disabilities At Work with business executives, entrepreneurs, educators, government officials, authors, and researchers. On occasion, show host Ray Zardetto, will be joined by roving reporters Donna Custard and John Sinzer, from Disabilities At Work.

Ray Zardetto

Disabilities At Work is pleased to have Ray Zardetto as host of its weekly radio show. A business executive, Ray is a 30-year veteran of corporate cubicles and corner offices. His background includes public relations, corporate communications, investor relations, crisis communications, internal communications, and event management related to all of the above. Ray has shared all that experience as an adjunct professor in communications at two New Jersey universities.

Ray also has broadcast experience in his background, with years as a radio talk show host and sports announcer with a ‘concentration’ in baseball. He writes for numerous baseball publications and is a member of the Society of American Baseball Research.

Author of “The Five Jerks You Meet on Earth,” an affectionate parody of the book with a similar name, Ray’s newest epistle is “'30: Major League Baseball's Year of the Batter,” in which he documents that 1930 was a baseball season unlike any other.

Ray is a horticulturalist and has a special relationship with poison ivy. He is also a father, husband, and dog whisperer. An as-yet-to-be released novel will expose him as an expert time traveler.
